Allowing remote access to your MySQL database:

If you wish to use your MySQL database on other services (such as Minecraft servers or services hosted elsewhere) you will need to allow access to your database.

Step 1. Obtain the IP of the service:

If your service is a Minecraft server then this is the IP of your server.
If you have services hosted elsewhere ask the host what the IP is.

Step 2. Whitelisting the IP:

Access your cPanel by clicking here. Log-in and go to 'Databases' -> 'Remote MySQL'
