Before You Begin (Required Step)

To join your Astroneer server, you must adjust one setting on your game client.
This only takes a moment.

1. Open Astroneer at least once.
   
   

2. On your computer, go to:
   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Astro\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

3. Open the Engine.ini file with any text editor.
   
   

4. Add this to the bottom:
   [SystemSettings]
net.AllowEncryption=False

5. Save the file and launch Astroneer again
