If you’re experiencing connection issues or seeing errors related to daemon requests, there are two common causes.

A firewall or antivirus is blocking the request

In some cases, a local firewall, antivirus, or network-level filter may block the WebSocket request used to communicate with our daemon.

To check this:

  1. Right-click anywhere on the page and open Developer Tools

  2. Go to the Network tab

  3. Look for the WebSocket request

  4. Check the status code:

    • A 20X status means the request is successful

    • A 403 or any status other than 20X means the request is being blocked

If the request is being blocked, you’ll need to allow it through your firewall or antivirus before the connection can succeed.

The daemon or node is temporarily offline

This issue can also occur if the daemon your server is hosted on has stopped responding or is temporarily offline. While this is rare, it can happen during node restarts or unexpected outages.

In this case:

  • Wait 1–5 minutes to see if the node comes back online automatically

  • If the issue persists, open a support ticket and include the error code shown in your panel so our team can investigate
